Preparedness and Capacity building on COVID Response
The orientation program on Capacity Building of Local Health Workers and Humanitarian Organization to strengthen the local health system has been organized in all seven provinces.
The program is designed to support local government, emergency health care system, and communities to strengthen their awareness through using government and WHO published information, educational, and communication (IEC) materials and strengthening technical capacity on preparedness and response for health emergencies.
The program is organized by the Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP); the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC); Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (the foundation); National Disaster Risk Reduction Centre Nepal (NDRC); Chaudhary Foundation (CF)/ Nabil Bank (NB); and Nepal Disaster Resilient Network (NDR Net)and supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Nepal. The participants including, Assistant Chief District Officer, Chief District HealthOfficer, Health staffs from Metropolitan Cities and near-by Municipalities, private hospital/pharmacy, NGOs, media, and private sector organizations participated in the program.
स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत स्थानीय स्वास्थ्यकर्मी तथा मानवीय सेवामा कार्यरत विभिन्न संघसंस्थाहरुको क्षमता अभिवृद्धीका लागि उक्त अभीमुखीकरण कार्यक्रम संचालन गरिएको हो । स्वास्थ्य आपतकालका बेला जनस्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धी जोखिम न्युनिकरण र नेपाल जस्तो अतिकम विकसित र जनस्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा सिमित पुर्वाधार भएको मुलुकमा सो अवस्थाको पुर्वतयारीका निम्ती जनस्वास्थ्य एवं मानविय सेवा क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत जनशक्तिको क्षमता अभिबृद्धी गर्ने उदेश्यका साथ उक्त कार्यक्रम गरिएको आयोजकले जनाएको छ ।
