Who We Are

Background

National Disaster Risk Reduction Centre Nepal (NDRC Nepal) was established in 2003 and registered in 2007. Since then we have been working in the field of disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation (CCA), natural resource management, and contemporary socio-economic issues. Our major modes of work are research, evaluation, project implementation, and knowledge management. has altogether reached 69 out of 77 districts in Nepal through various development initiatives in terms of research works, consultancy services as well as project implementation. We have a pool of experienced human resources with expertise in the fields of DRR, CCA, good governance, rights-based approach, and advocacy works with governments, bilateral, UN agencies, non-government, and civil society institutions.
