Research and Development

NDRC has extensively carried out applied research and aims at discovering solutions to problems or creating new knowledge. Having a pool of human resources from diverse backgrounds, be it science, literature, economics, mathematics, or media among others, NDRC is specialized in employing both quantitative and qualitative or even mixed methods. NDRC carries out the survey to get reliable statistical results as well as it covers a broad family of approaches and methodologies that are participatory in nature, solution-focused and value-driven.

In collaboration with different national and international actors like the Government of Nepal, NGO/INGO, UN and bilateral agencies in Nepal, and the academic institution like the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Western Sydney University (WSU), University of Edinburgh, UKRI GCRF and various institutions in South Asian Countries, it has been able to conduct research on the following issues:
